Well, better than that guy’s. It’s getting the kids up in the morning that’s the hard part. I don’t mind it so much myself.

Dragging like a mofo. That’s ok though, I’m only in the office today and Friday this week since I’m out on customer UX visits for the next three days. And then a week off. And then a two day work week.

I think I can finish the year strong ;)

I came in early (4:30) to knock out a door frame that we didn’t get until 9. That thing sucked.

Last night we got a call that our rental house roof has a leak. Which it’s probably due for a new roof anyway, so there goes a few thousand dollars.

I’m now on 18 days in a row without a day off, many of those are 12+hour days. Next day off will be Christmas. Only prescription mood-altering drugs are allowing me to avoid mass murder at this point.

Today and the next 3 days will never end, only because I am waiting to hear back if I won a nice contract on a new business venture I am starting with a friend of mine. Turns out that my writing skills are just above decent but my research skills are legendary. My friend has a background in both technical writing and corporate communications. So by our powers combined we are Captain Corporate Blogger! Not really our company name, no matter how hard I pushed for it. But seriously I don’t find out till Thursday on the contract and I know our competition, and she is good. It may come down to pricing, we may win because for both of us it is secondary work and thus we can price down. But man its going to be tense.
